NO BETTING AT LEWISBURG. Covington, Ky., August 13. According to Sheriff Davidson, the effort to open a poolroom at Lewis-burg, a suburb of this city, is going to be a failure. The sheriff says he will not permit the operation of a poolroom in Lewisburg, nor anywhere else in Kenton County. He says he does not want to use force in closing the poolroom at Lewisburg, and that be had so informed those intrested in it, but if it becomes necessary, he says he will raid the place and break up the paraphernalia.
