Cooney K. escaped a Jam at the start and showed much speed, opened a long lead early and won all the way, finishing eased up. Glena MacRride was waited with to the stretch and failed to get up in a fast finish. Harry Richeson was cut off at the start, then closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Snowdrift outjumped and outrun the others all the way, led by a wide margin and won in a canter. Daw-ro.i moved up gamely in the last half and outstayed Ralph Reese in a punishing finish. The latter put up a good performance and is promising as a Jumper. Italia ran a good race, was sharply cut off on the stretch turn and came again with a line display of speed. Kstcheinikc ran on the outside all the way and was a game and fast going third. A stiff wind blowing down the hackstreteh was injurious to Frontenae, but he ran a good, game race and finished with a rush 011 the outside. The Belle showed superior early speed, but tired in the stretch irive. Terah got off slowly and finished well. Toddles was eased up after showing good half mile. Scratched 70413 Bonnie Kate, 07. Clianida closed an early gap and made a menacing challenge on the stretch turn, but tiivd in the final furlong. Denigre closed a big gap. Lord Dixon ran fairly well. Reveille closed a big gap and outstayed Gold Spray for third place in a game finish. The latter ran a good race and held on well under punishment. Reticent tired after running well to the stretch.
