SALE OF GATEWAY AND OTHERS. Gateway, one of tlio most consistent racers at Seattle, has been purchased by J. S. Curl from the Woods estate. Just what Curl paid for the mare has not been made public. Rosy Light, another of the Woods string, has been purchased by 1. A. Ross, the Canadian horseman. It is understood that Frank Filthier and a couple of other horses belonging to this estate, have not yet been disposed of. V. II. Terry, who was trainer for J. S. Wood, is now in the employ of D. A. Ross.
