NOTES OF THE TURF. Lee Darnaby has gone from Lexington, Ky.. to Norfolk, Va., with fifteen horses. Including Dainty Dame, Vipsanla and Judge Dundon. Captain W. H. May, who returned from Europe a few days ago, says Eugene Leigh has 200 horses in training in his public stable at Paris. The Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Jockey Club has adopted resolutions of sorrow and regret at the death of Allan C. Washington, who was for many years a member and secretary of the board. There are rumors of a change in the management of Hie track which was opened at Norfolk, Va., last .Monday. Things are not moving along In a manner pleasing to W. A. Young, who appears to be chief financial spirit in the Jamestown Jockey Club. Jockey Louis Munro. whose license was revoked by tlie American Turf Association for a suspicious ride on Goldzone at Louisville May 24, 1000, came near being killed when Blytheness fell with him in a race at the half-mile track in New Orleans Wednesday.
