RACING THRIVES IN THE NORTHWEST. Seattle, Wash., September 10. Manager Robert Cosgrove, of the Interstate Fair, has selected the following officials for the races that will be held in, Spokane during the fair: Presiding judge, Fred E. Mulholland; associate judges, Charles D. Jef-feries and 1. B. Stewart; superintendent of the. speed department and clerk of the course, Robert Leighton; timer and paddock judge, John C. Dinue; slnrler, IL E. Woods. , : : ; Racing has taken so well at Vancouver,. British Columbia, that an extra live "days moot has hceii arranged to be lipid on the Hastings track, opening on September 17 nlnd closing on September 21.; The following week the horses will run at Victoria for five days at the fair in that city.
