CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE AUTUMN STAKES. The Autumn AA-as one of the first stakes established by the Coney Island Jockey Club and had its twenty-fourth running at Sheepshead Bay yesterday afternoon. In its third year it fell to the great mare Firenze and the following year "Lucky" Baldwins grand colt, Emperor of Norfolk, Avas its winner. Sallie McClelland, Yorkville Belle, Dobbins, Crescendo, Hamburg and Mesmerist also proved victors In this event and all Avere very high-class racers.
