MEMPHIS TRACK TO REMAIN INTACT. Memphis, Tenn., September 19. At a formal meeting of the New Memphis Jockey Club directors held in the clubs offices in the Cotton Exchange building today it was unanimously decided that Montgomery i Park will remain open for the use of horsemen during the coming winter. This will he good news for many horsemen, the report having been spread that the plant here would be cut up for residence lots. A nominal price will be charged for stalls and cottages, which can be had by applying to superintendent Weimhold. Nearly a thousand horses are expected, many yearlings being already stabled at the course, being broken for the next racing season.
