TEXAS RACING CIRCUIT OF 1907. Dallas, Texas, Septoniber 19. The fall race meetings of the Texas circuit are near at hand and are attracting general attention among horsemen. The Shreveport. meeting is to run from October C to 12, inclusive, and the Fort Worth meeting from October 8 to 17 inclusive. . The conflict of original dates at these two meetings could be only partially reconciled, but the dates as they now stand arc satisfactory. Shreveport stakes and purses amount to 5,000, and Fort Worth hangs up 0,000. The Dallas meeting, at the State Fair, opens October 19 nnd continues thirteen days, to November 2 Close to 0,000 is scheduled in the program. Many good horses are entered for the six stake races to be run at the State Fair this year. San Antonio follows Dallas with twelve days racing, from November . 9 to November 23, and 0,000 in prizes for the winners. Then comes Houston and Beaumont, with a week each, nnd 0,000 apiece in stake and purse money. Joseph A. Murphy will have charge of the racing at Dallas and Fort Worth and possibly at other places in the circuit. N. M. Macfarlan will be in charge at San Antonio.
