Niblick dashed Into a Winning lead in the first furlong, showed extreme speed at all stages and was well fn hand at the end. Showman, under punishment all of the last quarter, wore Isadaisy down in the stretch and was driving to the limit at the end to stall off La Londe. The latter broke slowly and was outrun for the first lialf and carried very wide when entering the homestretch, but came fast in the last furlong. Emergency was badly ridden and lost ground when entering the homestretch. Isadaisy showed much improvement and was close up to the strereh. The Chef moved up when going to the sixth jump and dashed to the front after Humorist stumbled at the ninth Jump, but was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Dacra. The latter, a sure and true jumper, was kept under restraint until in the last three furlongs, came fast in the stretch and would have won in another stride. Amber was driving hard at the finish to Stall off Judge Nolan. OConnor lost one of his stirrups at the first jump and pulled Dr. Koch up. Plcktlmc was only out for a gallop. The Belie began slowly and was badly outrun for the first half, but went to tlie outside when entering the homestretch and finished with a great burst of speed. Charlie Eastman could never get up, but outstayed Platoon and Avauntcer under punishment. Platooii showed superior speed, tut tired.
