Ronilgh was represented by his bad-acting Atheling mare. Kumiss. j. C. C. McCafTertys horses are here from Seattle. They arc. David. Boland, King of the Mist, Nine Spot, Ed Davis, Water Thrush, Tejon, Frank Rose and Collis. McCafferty arrived several days ago and has been trying to secure stable room for the horses, but so far has only been able to secure temporary, quarters at the track. . E, J. Ramsey has fired and turned out Grass- -t cutter. The St. Carlo mare will not be seen J at the races until the latter part of the meeting. Ramsey has Horatius, the seven-year-old Oddfellow liorsc, which has not raced since Prank Skinner had him here two years ago. The bay horse is looking good and acts as if there were a number of good races in him yet. j Captain Rice has his good horse Rightful, brother to the great race marc, Endurance by Right, in splendid condition and will enter him in some of the early handicaps. G. B. .Morris, according to present plans, will only have two horses here this winter, Ziney, a two-year-old non-starter, and Mystilier, one of the best two-yea r-olds now at Latouia. J. B. Respess will not send any horses hero, having decided to rest his horses up during the winter. Judge E. C. liopper is expected here about No- 1 vcmber Xt.
