Coon, showing the most speed from the start, raced No Quarter Into defeat while going the first five furlongs and, standing the liual drive gamely, outstayed Major T. J. Carson in the closing drive. Major T. .7. Carson closed a gap, gained steadily under a hard drive and would have won at a longer distance. Cominunipaw, favored by the going, but poorly ridden and taken wide most of the way, finished fast and put up a good performance. Dapple Gold tired in the stretch run. No Quarter showed speed, but began tiring after going a half. My Queen of the Roses ran poorly and had no mishaps. The winner was, entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 71024 Minnehaha, 105.
