Bockstone broke slowlv, but improved his position steadily in close quarters and won going away at the end of a hard stretch drive. Iroquois Belle outbroke and outpaced the others for five fur-longs, but tired slightly in the closing strides. Tramp, luckily and forwardly placed to the last turn, v here he was crowded back, finished with a cyclonic, but belated, rush. Frank Bord was in nearest pursuit to midwav of the stretch, where he tired and finished close up, after being shut off and pocketed. BAmour closeil a gap after being shullled to the rear at the half. Iligginbotham showed superior early sliced. Easton made up much ground in the last hair. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Scratched 71 022 Russell T., 103. Reene AV., away poorly, closed a big gap aud finished a fast going third, but pocketed, and w:is second best. Sussex made up ground steadily. The same applies to Tee Tick. All Alone tired after close pursuit of the winner for a half mile and was short. Polly AVatts, shuttled to the rear and nearly loft, closed a big gap. Bat Masterson ran. in close pursuit of the pacemakers throughout, went wide on the last turn and came on unexpectedly well at the end. Handzarra quickly ranged alongside the winner and forced hi in nioug at a terrific pace for live furlongs and tired finally, but is in very good form. Kentucky Beau, away slowly and in close quarters, put up a cyclonic stretch sprint. Tileing, away badly, closed up Steadily into a fast going and close up sixth and is about due. Kent or, nearly left, closed an immense gap and ran a remarkable race. Suffrage, knocked to the rear and virtually left, only cantered the jcurney. Lotus Brandt, on the inside in close quarters in the early running, came with a rush at the end. Norbitt, badly outrun for the first quarter, made up ground well. Goslien Chief held on well. Jubilee Juggins was prominent to the stretch. Scratched Shadow Glance, 10C. Overweights Mufti, 4 pounds.
