NOTES OF THE TURF. Jean Bcreaud will be at the head of the stud at Idle Hour Stock Farm next season. Assistant starter Joe Weber is at Oakland ready for duty, going there direct from Windsor. Thomas Griffin has shipped twenty-four horses from New York for Oakland, where thoy will be raced by him during the meeting. President T. II. Williams of the New California Jockey Club, says Judge Horace Egbert, if his health permits, will occupy his old post at Oak laud this winter. The Enquirer appends the name of John Gorman to the broker who has won a good deal of money 011 recent Latonia racing and the man for whom Tom Kiley bought Miss Sain from Barney Schrciber for ,000. 1 j 1 1 Trainer A. . Blakeley will take Rceuc W. Blue Heron and six or seven other to Oakland after the close of Aqueduct, to race, for Sam Emery. Master Robert and Arasee will not go with litem. Mr. Emery does not expect to go to the coast himself this winter.
