HIGH PRICES IN SOUTH AMERICA. At the annual September sale of the Haras Na-cional of Dr. Carlos I.eiro, held at Buenos Ayres, Argentine, thirty-four yearling colts and fillies were sold for 51,500. Of these yearlings, nineteen were colts, which brought an average of ,040, and fifteen were fillies, which averaged ,050. These are high prices. It may be of interest to give the breeding and prices of the youngsters which fetched the highest figures.
