COMING SALES AT LEXINGTON. Catalogues for the sale of the Millstream and Sen-orita studs, at Lexington, Thanksgiving -week, have been issued, and already there Is much speculation as to what sum the Frencli horse Adam will bring and who will be the purchaser. The Millstream consignment, of which Adam is the principal factor. Is. sold to dissolve a partnership, hut if it is the intention of any of the present partners to keep the best of the stock the secret has heen well guarded. Adam, which was owned by M. Edmund Blanc, in France, is by Flying Fox, the highest-priced thoroughbred the world has ever known. Ho was unbeaten as a two-year-old and won once as a three-year-old. He is a full brother tothc unbeaten Ajar, and it is believed that Adam would have enjoyed ,the same distinction but for sickness, which interfered Willi his racing after his two-year-old form. Adam was brought to this country by Francis C. Bishop, and his cost has been variously stated all the way from 1907.sh0,000 to ,000. This was his first season in the stud. He served thirteen outside mares at ,000, besides some twenty mares of, the Millstream Stud. Among the home mares bred to Adam, and which will be offered at the sale, are Clementina, Candle, the dam of McCartcr, Content. . Disadvantage, Glorioso, Grace Gumbert, Lady Albercraft, Musette, Twitter, dam of Merry Lark, Wild Thyme and Zealandia, dam of Waterboy. Handspring is the other stallion offering of the Millstream Stud.. The Senorita Stable includes two stallions, Broomstick and Garry Hermann, and eighteen broodmares, they being the pick of those collected by the late Captain Sam Brown. Eight have been bred to Broomstick and ten to Garry Hermann. Broomstick, whose racing career is too well known to need recalling here, has had nothing to race yet, but Garry Hermann has already sent a number of good horses to the races. The sale should be a notable one and Is sure to attract the attention of breeders throughout the entire country, as in addition to the two studs already named it will include George C. Bennetts Ridgeway Stud, R. n. McCarter Potters Request Stud, Leouatus Stud, and Meadows Stud.
