NOTES OF THE TURF. Fred Foster is in New York, having just returned from England, where he put in the summer racing season. Htizzah is recovering from his long illness and trainer Hughes expects lo get him to the post at Oakland before the cnd of the year. Jockey Tom Gargan will ride at Oakland this winter for M. 1. .Miller. Charles Lusk will, however, make all of the engagements for the boy. The price of admission to both of the New Orleans tracks will remain the same as last year. Complimentary badges will not be issued to anyone. The stable of James A. Murray, the Montana millionaire, consisting of Collector Jcssup, Markio Mayer, Kogo and Azura, will be raced at Oakland again this winter. Angelus, the Sandringham two-year-old owned in equal partnership by Fred Burlcw and Thomas Hitchcock, Jr., will be raced in the name of Mr. Hitchcock and not that of Burlew and ONeill, as they had first agreed. Jockey Willie Walsh while exercising Delmore at Sheepshead Bay Saturday was thrown from the saddle, Ids foot catching in the stirrup, and he was dragged several hundred yards before the colt was caught. He will be kept out of the saddle for several days.
