DAVY JOHNSON IS "BROKE" AGAIN. New York, November 7. Although he was nearly 1907.sh0,000 ahead of the game ten days ago, it is known that Dave Johnson has been experiencing such a run of hard luck since then that he has practically gone to the wall again. It is stated, that the big pluuger lost sixteen straight bets last Friday, Saturday and Monday, which practically wiped out his recently acquired bankroll. Johnson has not been at Aqueduct, bu his friends said that with his usual Ingenuity he could be depended upon to dig up another roll with which to take just one more whirl at the game before the local campaign ends.
