L.plosIon got away well and drew into a long lead early and was never headed, but tired under her weight and was hard pressed and forced to a drive to stall off King Sol. The latter was outrun some m the early stages, but finished gamely and was catching the winner at the end. Don Ottarlo ran a surprising race, made up ground in the last eighth and linished a-fast going third. Ardri tired badly after showing early speed. St. Ilario was always outrun.
