Miss Imogene showed superior early speed and set the pace fast, but tired in the last furlong. May Lee ran "a good race and is showing improvement. My 1-ndy Frances closed a big gap in the last quarter. Lena Leech acted badly at the post, but ran a good race. Nora MeKenna was in a tangle most of the way. Kenmare Queen had a rough trip. Arrow Swift, outpaced for the first three-quarters and forced to go wide in the stretch, ran a good race and finished fast and gamely. Druid came from a long way back in the stretch. Banrida suffered from much interference in the early run- ning. was much used and tired in the last furlong. Hostile Hyphen lacked early speed, but finished gamely.
