AN APPEAL FROM BETTING DECISION. Washington, D. C, March 14. — Fnlted States Attorney baker today fi rmally noted an appeal to the Court of Appeals from the recent ruling of Justice Stafford, holding the perambulating form •of bookmaking at Benning to be legal. The record in the ease will l»e expedited in order to have the appeal heard if lossible at the next terra of the Di-trict Court of Appeals, to which time the Davis old-method bookmaking ease has been postponed.
