ANTI-P00LR00M BILL SAVED FOR PASSAGE. Lexington, Ky., March 14. — The anti-poolroom bill, which was passed by the senate at Frankfort ten days ago, had its first reading in the lower house of the legislature today and will have its second leading Monday and be submitted to a vote Tuesday, the last day of the session. Its passage is next to a certainty and it is said to be no question , but what the governor will sign the act. Night riders burned tobacco barns on two thoroughbred breeding farms In Woodford county last night. The first destroyed was that of George C. Graddys Daytonia Farm, the home of the stallion i Tithonus, near Versailles, and the other was on the farm of Captain Jim Williams. Messrs. Graddy and Williams are not members of the society. Night t guards have been placed on nearly every breeding farm in this section, particularly where tobacco 1 has been a portion of the annual crop.
