The Shaughraun, Colloquy, Comedienne, Oraculum. Bellwether, Woodlane and Campaigner are now at New Orleans. Jockey Notter has been engaged to ride Berkeley in the race and Shaw, who has arrived at the track, will have the leg up on Greeno. The steeplechase riders Jay OBrien and Harry Stone are here from New York. OBrien will ride his own horses, while Stone will pilot the J. W. Colt jumpers in their races. Dion K. Kerr has arrived from Warrenton, Va., with his stable of jumpers. It includes Essex II. Flu MacCool and Follow On. Mr. Kerrs candidate in the Dinner Stakes is the two-year-old Young Roe, a chestnut colt by Roehampton — Aunt Sally and one of the first foals of the sire which has for several i years stood at the head of Dr. James Kerrs Antrim i Stud. It is not likely that Follow On will start ; during the meeting, as it is the intention of Dr. Kerr to mate her this spring with the American i Derby winner, Sidney Lucas, which he lately leased 1 from H. T. Oxnard to succeed Roehampton at Antrim. Pierre Lorillard Jr.s Mooksie and Huddy, which i were wintered at the track, are in charge of Charles i Douglas, the colored trainer, who has spared no pains to complete their education over the jumps. Colonel Robert Neville has brought n number of jumpers from IVlham Farm and the best of them is I Sir Wooster and The Miner. The latter has not : raced under colors for several years. S. S. Howland has been appointed steward to • represent the Jockey Club aud will occupy his accustomed place in the stand again this spring.
