Miss Imogne was speedy and set the early pace fast, but was tiriug near the end. Lurid, taken wide most of the way. finished gamely and was a lucky third. Bahba ran a gixni race and was unluckv to lose third place. May Lee ran fairly well. Alamia broke from an outside M .-iti..n and hud to go wide all the way. Malecon can do much better. Wausau ran a good race and had no mishaps, hut tired badly in the last sixteenth. Spunky set the pace in the early running, hut tired fast in the last quarter. Polar Star, away fast, ran a good race and will show improvement on a muddy track. Mc-Quiddy had a rough trip and closed a big gap near the end. Gratiot ran fairly well. Green Seal set a tremendously fast pace for the first mile and had the others driving hard to keep up, but tired slightly near the end and would haTe won had Dugan not been overconfident. Temaceo ran a good race and finished fast. Polly Prim tired fast after going well for seven furlongs. First Premium quit in the last half. Donna propped at the post and was practically left. Cooney K. was best, but was practically left and taken wide all the way, but finished fast and was unlucky to lose. E. T. Shipp had no mishaps, ran well to the stretch and tired. Convolo will improve. Lens has gone back. Frizette will improve and showed a good flight of early speed. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid.
