A PI? LEG ATE HORSES START FOR CALIFORNIA. Lexington. Ky., October 19. Colonel W. E. Ap-plegate shipped seven thoroughbred yearlings from here this morning to Louisville, where W. T. Overton. Somproni. Semproniuin and J. J. Flannigans Mattio Mack were taken into the car, which left the Falls City tonight for San Francisco. J. J. Flannigan is in charge of the shipment. The yearlings are: II a v colt, by Wqolstliorpe Volma. Bar filly, by Woolstliorpe LI I lie M. Bay filly, by Jim Gore-1-Eleanor. Bay colt, by Cameron Laura Stone. Bay colt, by Nasturtium Lizzie I. Bay colt, by Woolstliorpe Gillian. Bay filly, by Cesarion Leopoldina. Each of tho first-named three, broken by Jimmy Ross, has shown quarters lctter than twenty-four seconds. The raciest-looking one of the collection is the Laura Stone colt.
