BALLOT AND COLIN ABROAD. New York. October 19. Ballot and Colin are to be trained next year for handicap and cup races, and there can be small doubt as to Ballots standing up. Colin, however, has had a leg under suspicion pretty much all season and he may not stand the gaff, if he does not he will bo retired forthwith to the stud. Since they train horses early on the other side, if Colin is to break down he is apt to go early. In that event he may serve some mares next spring. Colin is popular in Great Britain. More than one breeder lias already expressed a desire to mate good mares with him. Sam Darling has trained horses for 01 r. Keene in the past, and it is possible that he may handle Ids string next year.
