Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. Home Run, away forwardly and clear of interference, ran a good race, was always well up and, standing a hard drive in the stretch gamely, came away in the last sixteenth. Olive Ely showed much speed and raced Plume into defeat in the first live furlongs, but tired slightly in the stretch from her early efforts. Plume ran well and had no mishaps. Almena was a sharp contender for the first half. Mrs. Sewall was knocked back soon after the start and failed to respond when called on in the stretch. The winner was entered for 00: no hid. Dona II. ran in Improved form and. showing much speed, barely failed to last it out for third place. Toplofty closed a big gap. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Miss Sain had no mishaps and ran a good race, hut could not concede the weight. Lens, away in a tangle and on the outside, lost much ground at the start, but ran well and finished close up. The latter also ran a good race, was clear of interference and finished reso-hitciy. Alice Baird, shullled back soon after the start, closed a big gap. although taken wide, and finished fast and gamely. Floreal had no mishaps. Gliding Belle was a sufferer from interference and was weakly ridden. Mique OBrien tired after going three-quarters. Dr. Holzberg ran a had race and can do much better. Hughes showed the most early speed and finished resolutely, hut was not good enough. Oroo-noka ran a good race for him and was close up all the way. Besterling ran poorly and can do much better. The winner was entered for 1908.sh00; 110 bid.
