Lady Isabel wore Kempton down on the far turn and outstayed him in the final drive. Kempton was much used in setting the pace and tired. Lally had a rough trip. Sparkles ran ptforly. Trance, poorly ridden, was sharply cut off on the turn out ot the backstretch when attempting to go through on tlie inside and was taken out of the middle of the track when entering the homestretch. Michael Beck dropped in behind the two leaders soon after the start and remained there throughout. Ruxton went well.
