Miss Crittenden was a forward contender from the start and tired slightly In the final- furlong. ..ndhiana closed a gap and was gaining at the end. Gold Front had a rough trip and ran a good race. Dispute showed the most speed for three-quarters and ran a good, game race, but tired in the final drive. Alice Baird was always prominent and a close up third. Irrigator ran well and suffered from interference. Ray H. made a good effort in the middle half, but was shuttled back at the three-quarters and tired In the stretch. Sorrel Top, almost thrown at the start and shuflled back almost to last place, closed a big gap and finished fast and gamely. Almee C, also suffering from interference, ran a good race and was going fast at the end. Gertrude Spann ran a good race and iiuislied with a rush. Lillie Turner was almost thrown at the start. Ethon came fast in the last furlong after saving ground when turning into the streteh. Marse Abe, favored by his light weight, ran forwardly for a half, but tired in the stretch. , Iianbridge was taken wide all the way and had scant chance at the weights.
