TO CONFER OVER NEW ORLEANS SITUATION. New Orleans, La., November 16. Edward Corrigan. the largest individual stockholder of the City Park race track, today telegraphed Samnel F. Heas-lip that he would come here Immediately to see if racing cannot be saved in Louisiana and a winter meeting of some sort held. It is also announced that Celia Bros, will join Corrigan here, and that the three will confer with local racing magnates as to the possibility of starting the runners this winter. Meanwhile the Louisiana Racing and Driving Club, which operates the lialf-mile track, is preparing to start operations on Thanksgiving day. Many horsemen are now here in an unsettled state of mind, undecided whether to go to Cuba or the Pacific coast.
