HANDSPRING SHIPPED TO ENGLAND. Lexington, Ky., November 10. Fred Luzader. acting for J. It. Wainwright, of Pittsburg, today closed a deal begun tome ten days ago for five thoroughbred yearlings that are to be shipped to Latonia tomorrow. From J. C. Gallaher he bought a bay colt, by Buskin II. Sister Molly, and from Catesby Woodford the following four: Brown colt, by Ben Brush Janice II.; black colt, by Sir Dixon Lady Alberta; brown colt, by Sir Dixon Blue Mass, and chestnut filly, by Star Shoot Homebody. The last named four have been in the stable of Robert Frakes. Each of the five has shown an eighth in better than 12 seconds. Handspring, chestnut son of Hanover and My Favorite, belonging to the Millstream Stud, is ou his way to New York to take a steamer for England, where he will be sold In the December sales. Handspring was a good race horse and among his victories were the Double Event and Brooklyn Derby. He has sired many good racers, including Major Daingerlield. In the same car with Handspring went the mares Favor Bells, dam of Bellwether, and Right Wild, dam of W. T. Overton, purchased at the MeGrathi-ana sale by Green B. Morris for D. W. Arnett, of Ireland. The twenty-eight Elmendorf mares intended for sale in England In December, left here today in charge of Jack Morgan.
