ANTRIM SALE A FAILURE. The sale of the Antrim Stock Farms yearlings, which was held in the paddock at Oakland last Thursday, afforded further evidence of the fact that there is little demand for young racing material because of the uncertainty among the horsemen as to what the future has in store for the racing game. At the sale twenty-two head were led into the sales ring, but seven of the number did not even elicit a bid and were passed out and Mrs. Kerr, who was present in person, bid in six others rather than sacrifice them for a song. A partial result of the sale was as follows: Bay colt, by All Green Victoria: Frank Farrar 00 Bay filly, by Kismet Promise IV.: C. Riddle 100 Bay filly, by Kismet Virginia Dare; J. Spratt SO Bay filly, by Kismet Rillito: W. L. Stan-field . -no Bay filly, by Kismet Eileena; J. Spratt r0 " None of the others brought as much as 0, and one, a chestnut filly by Cromwell Perfection, was knocked down to W. Fisher for 0.
