Rosamo was slightly outpaced early, but closed up leisurely in the last half and drew out and won off at the end. The Aicar ran in forward pursuit throughout and was a fast going second. Wamboro was prominent to the stretch, but tired badly near the finish. Mnbel Fountain, from a tlatfooted start, closed a big gap under a bad ride. Johnny AVhite showed superior speed for a half, but failed to stay. Harry Stanhope came gamely In the last quarter. Larry Mulligan closed a gap. as did Ornate, which was nearly left. Kl Paso quit.
