RACING DATES TO BE CONSIDERED. Xew York, December 15. There will be a meeting of the Jockey Club this week at which the question of racing dates for next season is to lie considered and plans made for the continuance of racing on the Xew York tracks. It is believed that all but one or two minor associations will agree to race and offer good purses entirely without any consideration of any action by the courts that might change the racing situation. Xo decision as to whether stake races will be run or not has been made, but undoubtedly several old fixtures will be decided as in former years. P. J. Dwyer had to shorten his visit to French Lick Springs and return to Xew York so lie would be able to attend the meeting of the Jockey Club. Mars Cassidy accompanied Mr. Dwyer home and said that he is ready for racing at once. Sir Martin and Edward are still in the Madden barn at Sheepshead Bay and are taking their usual daily exercise. They will remain there until the TIchenor-Grand Co. takes them in charge for shipment to England. The National Hunt and Steeplechase Association is endeavoring to create interest in fox hunting and amateur hunt meetings and with that idea in view has called a meeting of representatives of the different limit associations to consider plans for the season of 1000.
