Gollv Ding broke well 111 Ills stride, carried Antigo along at breakneck speed to the stretch, then gradually drew away under a mild hand ride. Valley Stream raced forwardly throughout and finished fast. Veil began sluggishly, hut made up some ground in the last quarter, finishing resolutely under an alternate strong hand ride and the whip. Roalta came fast in the final eighth. Pert broke slowly, but moved up fast just before entering the stretch and finished gamely. Helen Harvev was kept at top speed throughout b.v the sharp pace Osorine set and tired badly in the last hundred yards. Osorine set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. Shaw ran well to the stretch and tired. Timothy Wen was hopelessly pocketed next to the inside rail in the final quarter and could not get through, but finished fresh. Ktiiel Day came through the stretch on the outside of the others with a belated rush, finishing gamely under the whip. Magazine propped as the barrier went up and was virtually left.
