WILL NOT CALL SPECIAL SESSION. New Orleans, La.. December 26". Governor Sanders today forestalled the mass meeting of business men called tor Monday night to petition for a restoration of racing at New Orleans by announcing that he would not call a special session of the Louisiana legislature. The governor stated that there, is no necessity for an extra session, the nubile welfare not requiring It The legislature will not meet In regular session until May, 1010. and the racing interests will have to wait until that time tq make their fight for a repeal of the Locke law.
