MAKING THE THOROUGHBREDS POPULAR. Montreal, Que.. April 3. — The Canadian National ■arena of Breeding will make a big showing at the Montreal Horse Show in May. Besides exhibiting 1 large number of stallions in the Special Bureau "lass, there will he a good representation in the open class and at hast one entry in the class for thoroughbred stallions under four years old. The value of the bureau to horse shows, not only in Montreal, but all over Canada, can hardly be over-. stimuli il. for in a few years the good effects of the introduction of pure blood will be seen in tile saddle, carriage, hunter, general purpose and utility boraea of this country. All this will surely add class to tie different horse shows.
