TWENTY LEADERS AT OAKLAND. From January 1 to March 31. the first three months of I0O9 racing, the California Jockey Club has distributed iu stakes and purses the magnificent sum of 084,530 for the 402 races decided. F. A. For-sythe. with 0.:t:t0 to his credit, is securely anchored ill the proud position of leader, due to bis good three-year-old. High Private. Second in the winning list is H. G. Bedwell. whose horses have gathered the large sum of S.775. an average of a trifle less than 44 a day. Next to him comes S. C. Hililretu with 3,905. and. unless his horses get into action soon, it will not be long before be Is displaced by T. II. Williams, who is a close fourth.
