CRACK JUMPER FALLS LAME. Washington. D. C. April 14.— T. S. Martin, one of the best jumpers at two miles in this country, is badly broken down. The six-voar-old sou of Father-loss and Sanci was bred by R. J. Hancock ■ Son. of the Kllerslie Stud, and was developed by William Garth. He has won many races at Pimlh-o in tlie colors of V. L. Maupin and would have boon a sure starter hero in the cross-country races. T. S. Martin won the Harbor Hill Cup for C. C. Smithson. and was sold to Paul J. Rainey for Ss.iiikp. an,i the next spring won the Whitney Memorial, beating the crack jumper. GihmI and Plenty. The W. O. Scully. G-orge C. Cnlih and J. S. 1 1 . .v stables were shipped from Washington yesterday to Iiinlico.
