NOMINATIONS TO PREAKNESS STAKES. Promising Young Horses to Contest in the Revival of an Old-Time Event. One of the big attractions of the Maryland Jo.kcy Club spring meeting at Pimlico this vear will be the revival of the famous old Preakness Stakes, which was at one time one of the most coveted sporting events in a racing way in this countrv. The running of the Preakness Stakes was discon tinned when Pimlico lost its prestige as a racing point, and the renewal of this famous old event means that some of the glorv of the old days is returning to the Maryland —it Following are the conditions of the Preakness and its entries: The Preakness — For three-year-olds. By subscription of .5 each: starters to pav $,"0 additional, to the winner, with ,000 added, of which 00 to the second and 10 to the third.
