MANY TRAINERS AND JOCKEYS LICENSED. Lexington. Ky.. May !.— The meeting of the State Rarlnar. Commission was held here instead of at Frankfort this morning. Chairman J. P. Lliiiin instructed Secretary Rouse to issue a call for Lex ingion. although lie intended to say Frankfort. China tourneyed to Frankfort, and lessrs. E. F. Clay. Milton Young and Louis Dearomets met here. Mr. IJnhaj.il was not PHI at. Chairman Cliinn. while the tneetini; was in progress, called up on the telephone from Fi-ankforl and reported that the case of tl«- Latonia Jockey Club agaiiis/t the .State Racing Commission had been submitted to the Court of Appeals without argument, and that the court had allowed ten days for riling briefs. The coinmission issued liit-nsis to forty-nine trainers, tifleen jockeys and two apprentices, but jockev ieorge Mountain was not among them. One member moved that the vote by which he was denied a license at the last meeting he reconsidered.
