LOCATION OF JUAREZ TRACK CHANGED. Cincinnati. O.. June S. — Matt J. Winn was a visitor at Latonia this afternoon, en route from Juarez. Mexico, to New York, where he goes to get thiims in readiness for tl*1 opening of the Empire City tracs. Mr. Winn, during his stay in Juarez, shaped matters so that snarl will soon liegin on the plant to he completed there for the opening on Thanksgiving Day. There has tteen some delay in starting building operations because of a disagreement over land values, but this lias been overcome by the purchase of 3 H» acres of ground in another section of Juarez. more desirable than the location first considered, and within fifteen minutes ride of tin- leading hotels in El Pas* Mr. Winn stated that stakes will be announced for the Juarez meeting some time in August. In discussing New York racing Mr. Winn stated that he had favorable reports from James Butler, owner of the Empire City track, and that in all probability five OB more days racing will be given over the Yonki rs course.
