CANADIANS AFTER MORE STALLIONS. New York. June 10. — John 1". Rya:i. manager of the Canadian Breeding Bureau, accompanied by lhil T. Chinn. is here looking for more material fat he bureau, which already has stallons standing in every province of the Dominion, from New Brims-wick in the east to Manitoba, the nourishing middle wester;1 province of which Winnipeg is Ihe capital. Winnipeg, by the way. promises to be a racing center. It has a well-to-do and thrifty population of more than 100,000, and Charles W. Leavitt. Jr.. the builder of the Saratoga and Belmont Park courses, has recently constructed a tine mile track Ihcre. It is the intention of the Canadian Bureau. Mr. Kvan savs, to extend its chain of stallions and its iutfuenco to the Pacific coast. The people of the western provinces are enthusiastic horse lovers. There are several prominent thoroughbred stallions in Alberta. Duncan Cameron, a Scotch-Canadian, who used to race in this locality, has at his place near Calgary the British stallion. Eagle Plume.
