AMERICAN YEARLINGS SELL MODERATELY. London, Eng., July 1G. Twenty-three American yearlings from the Elmendorf stud of J. B. Haggin were sold at Newmarket Wednesday. A Watercress filly out of Hamburg Belle brought ,075. A Watercress filly out of 3Iiss Dmsilla brought ,G25, and a Watercress colt out of Pearl V.. ,040. The total for twenty-three sold was 7,755, which represented an average of 70. Clarence II. 3Iackays consignment of yearlings from the Kingston Stud at Lexington, with engagements, were, also sold. The Bis realized ,255, an average of 70.
