The twenty-second renewal of the Eclipse Stakes of 10.000 sovereigns, for three and four-year-olds, distance one mile and a quarter, was run at Sandown Park todav and was won by 3fr. Fairios Bayardo. Koyal Realm. own?d by Colonel W. Hail Walker, was second, and Leopold de Rothschilds Santo Strato third. Four horses mn. If. P. Whitney had two entries for the event, hut neither contested. The thirty-fourth renewal of the Great Kingston Two-Year-Old Plate of 500 sovereigns, distance five furlongs, was won by Ulster King. The Nepenthe colt was second and Conte d Hoffman third. Among the fifteen starters were II. P. Whitneys New Castle II. and J. It. Keenes Infatuation, hut neither secured a pace. The Surbiton Handicap of 300 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance live furlongs, was won by Chleveley. Prospector was second and Lantana third. Among the six starters was II. P. Whitneys Baby Wolf.
