The management sent out a notice some time ago that badges good for the clubhouse, during the present sixteen-day meeting and six days In the fail could be purchased for 5 each. As the admission to the track is and as persons with business acumen saw a chance to save money, there was a concerted rush to get these lindges. Tom, Dick and Harry lined up to secure the exclusive privileges of the clubhouse, but when fifty badges had lieen sold like hot cakes, it suddenly dawned on the management that -something was wrong. So the sale of badges was suddenly stopped, much to the dismay of several members of an east side club who had the price and were crowding around the badge seller.
