PROGRESS ON VANCOUVER TRACK. Victoria, B. C, July 10. 3Ianager Robert Leigh-ton has returned from a trip to Vancouver and reports everything going along in a satisfactory man-mron,;tne new track at tnat Place. Five hundred stalls, floored and electric lighted, are nearly finished. All the fences are up, the track is readv and the grandstand will be ready by August 1. The stalls form a complete row. half a mile In extent. Thev are ceiled and are 12 by 10 feet in dimensions, with an overhanging roof eight feet wide. A clubhouse costing ,000 is also under construction. The track will be one of the most complete In the country. The grandstand dimensions are ISO feet long by SO feet In depth, faced by a row of twenty-two private boxes. The stand will have three wide lawn entrances in addition to the entrances from the railrpad tracks.
