IMPROVEMENTS AT THE Y0NKERS TRACK. Xew York. August .1. James Dutler and Matt Winn, or the Empire City Racing Association, have decided to make important improvements at the Yonkers track liefore the autumn meeting. The grandstand is to be extended to the so-called free Held, and a new saddling paddock is to be built. The determination of iMr. Dutler to extend the grandstand would seem to Indicate that lie expects bigger crowds at Yonkers in future. Itesides these improvements of the grandstand nnd paddock, air. Winn will have a new bulletin board on which to post the name of jockeys riding in each race.
