HARRIMAN MAY BECOME BREEDER. Saratoga, N. Y.. August 2". If reports now current are true, E. II. Ilarriman, the railroad magnate. If his health permits, will be actively engaged iit breeding race horses next year, as Thomas F. Ityan Is now. and in due course Mr. Harriman will race the product of his stock farm. It is understood that he has an agent now looking into the pedigrees of various marcs and stallions and that he will establish a stud either at Goshen. N. Y.. or in Kentucky. Mr. Harriman has for many years been interested in trotting horses, and they have campaigned in his name and interest in the past. It is said that he lias realized n diversion such as racing will furnish might aid In restoring him to his former health. If Mr. Ilarriman becomes interested in racing, he doubtless will become a pillar of the American turf.
