HELMET was knocked back at the start and given an easy ride afterwards. COHORT was off poorly and, closing up rapidly into forward contention, tired badly from bis early effort. LADY ESTHER showed decided improvement and, closing a gap in the last half, finished with a rush. XORBITT set a fast pace for a mile and tired in the final drive.
