EDDA ran in close pursuit" of the leader, but tired finally and just lasted long enough to outstay ALDRIAN for second place. The latter broke well on the inside, but was cut off and milled up, then finished fast and ran much the best race of all.: DANGER MARK was thrown against the inside fence at tho half-mile post and, losing his rider, was very lame when caught. SHAPDALE ran in forward contention to the stretch turn, but was tiring at the end. BEN IIOAAE ran fairly well. ANDY GINTER set the pace to the stretch aud quit badly. ROSEBURG II. closed a big gap.
